Default pedestal or stud mounted rockers

I just purchased some 1.7 pedestal mounted rockers. My question is whats the difference between the two peformance wise? what do you prefer?

i've seen way too many pedestal mounts rip out of the head...stud mount all the way!!!!

No doubt. If you're going through the expense of doing rockers, it doesn't make sense to go the pedestal route.

I'm gonna run pedestal on my AFRs b/c i already have 1.7 pedestal rockers, but if i was doing everything from scratch id prolly go stud b/c they're supposed to be stronger. Never heard of a pedestal rocker problem with AFRs though.

i have seen people drill and heli coil the heads to make stud rocker arms work...that could be a possibility,,,,
