96FLMustang

I currently have a 96 GT Vert with 142,000 miles. It runs and looks good but the auto is killing its performance. I found a 94 GT 5.0 5 speed for around 4500 bucks. It has 112,000 miles and is in pretty good shape. My question is, would I be making the right decision to go to the 94 5.0 or just stay with my 4.6?

I never owned a 5.0 before. Are theyeasier to work on? Reliable? Cheaper tomod? How much money would it take to get in the high 13's in the1/4 mile?
