Default CHEAP MODS!!!

Hey guys I have been on hear awhile just observing I guess you would say I bought a 90lx ( thanks Chad) and am just looking for some cheap mods that will be worth it in the end. I dont want to just go out and waste money but at the same time i dont have money to build a motor or run a super charger so what mods can I with a budget in mind? thanks in advance so far all i have done is a AC/Smog pump delete and a full exhaust Magnaflows all the way with some shorty headers other than that its a stock 302

Ther is a sticky about "free mods" you can do. Start with gears, and then move up from there. Cold air intake, headers, exhaust, etc....

I would do gears, 3.55 or 3.73 if manual. 4.10 or higher for auto.

what exactly is your budget if i were you. I would get either 3.73 3.90 or 4.10 gears. If you want more cheap power got for nitrous. I believe you can get a whole setup including purge ,etc for $600
some one correct me if I'm wrong about the price.

We really need to know if you've got a 5-spd or AOD. If you'reAOD the first 3 things on your list should be 4.10's,Edge Racing Street Edge Converter, Baumann AOD ReCal kit. If it's a 5-spd, don't mind anything that I just said except for the gears. Otherwise you can do some free things such as increase yourtiming and removing your air silencer.

I dont know how cheap youre looking for so its hard to judge whats cheap.

A few ideas:
-Underdrive pullies ($75)- a few horsepower
-Rear control arms- about $150 new for cheaper ones (non adjustable)- better traction
-'94/'95 MAF sensor and housing- about $60 with the adapter- a few horsepower
-Shift kit (automatic only)
-subframe connectors (stiffens the car)

You're going to feel a big difference with the increased timing. Get a MGW short shifter.
