If you are deleting the EGR.....yep, it works....it will only cause a code 33 KOER or KOEO/CM to show up but the CEL will not be triggered.....which codes are showing up?....

Don't unplug the sensor connector, leave it on....simply disconnect and plug the vacuum line to the EGR valve. The only code that will show (assuming the EVP sensor is OK at its closed valve value)....would be code 33. The CEL will not turn on due to code 33, the only codes that will turn it on (EGR wise) are codes 31 and 35 (open and short in EVP circuit).

33 itself will not trip the CEL... i double checked that one myself on my car. I unplugged the egr vac hose and left it that way for two days... scanned my computer, code 33, no CEL
