Default stock internals

i was just wondering if anyone knows how many horses and ft/lbs stock internals on a 94-95 5.0 can handle and also what are the weakest parts. thanks for your time.

depends on what kind of power your putting in. bolt ons? blower? nitrous? it depends on what you add and what needs to be upgraded

Not sure about the torque. But generally speaking, most people say that the engine, when properly tuned,can hold around 450 RWHP before you risk destroying the block. Some say you can push the envelope to 500 RWHP but it's a thin line. Most will also agree that anything over 500 and it's only a matter of time before she gives.

If tuned properly, the internals and the block will hold those levels. You're likely to run into other problems by the time you get to those numbers though (like the tranny.)

Of course, noone will really be able to give you exact numbers because every engine is different. Especialyl after it has been around for 11 years. Many factors come into play over the life of the engine. But a good tune and 450 RWHP or so is about as far as I'd dare to push it.
