81 Bucks a month through geico, Was 150a month last year through progressive. I live in Eastern Ky one of the highest places for insurance. I am 23 almost 24, so it is going down as I get older. It is the only car on my policy, My other cars are in my dad's name I pay 96 bucks every 3 months on my 88 pathfinder.

Wow, i guess im getting taken here. I wanted to get a policy where the car is rarely driven, but the insurance agent said he had never heard of that. Anyway, i pay 30$ a month for liability. I put the car in my grandma's name, because for me it was 150/month until i turn 25

For everybody that said they only have liability I have some suggestions. Get a quote from your provider to add on comprehensive, this will cover fire, theft, VANDALISM, act of God, weather, etc. Comprehensive is only a few dollars more per month and worth every penny. While you're at it get a quote on uninsured motorist coverage as well. If you add those two coverages you're basically covered for any situation except if you cause an accident.

My wife is an insurance adjuster and I hear stories about people not having coverage everyday. For the price of comprehensive it is not worth not having it.

That's my $0.02, I hope it helps out.
