Control arms & strut bars vs Body flex??
I own an 87 5.0 convertible.Lowered with the ford motorsport springs. Just wondering will strut bars, subframe connectors, and crossmembers do much for my stang?? just curious was looking through summitt and was reading a lil bit about them, dont know much here to be honest. i dont want to mod the engine because its getting old and tired and giving me a lil bit of smoke so im going to build the frame and chassis instead. What should i start on first?? Also will control arms be a good thing to purchase and what would they do once on my car since its lowered and all. What other things could stop the flexing?

subframe connectors will help alot, especially full length ones. The strut tower brace will help flexing in turns mostly. The control arms will help get rid of wheel hop for better traction. A convertable with subframes is a MUST!

Ok thanks guys, so i should definetly get subframes and full length ones at that, i remember hearing about a kenny brown kit or something to do with him, are these any good? what will i notice once i get these on my vert or will there be a noticeable differnce. Same with the subframes and others mentioned, which should i do first???

also another question will adding any subframes or strut connectors make doing exhaust or tranny work say swapping them out, difficult, dont you have to weld subframes in ??

no the subframes will not intefear unless you get one with the x brace which i think can be ubolted and you can get bolt in subframes but i would not recommend it lots of people have promblems with the bolt in subframes
