Default 24# injector & fuel pump ??

Ok, I've searched the threads regarding this question but still kinda up in the air. When I put 24# injectors in my car will the stock fuel pump supply enough fuel to feed them. The motor is no mountain motor however it does have aftermarket heads, cam intake, TB, M/A, and getting ready to install my wet kit. Any replies are greatly appreciated.

the stock fuel pump can supply 24# injectors, but if you have an H/C/I combo like you say you do.. you need to upgrade to a 190lph at the least

the injectors wont use more than the duty cycle calls for.. unused fuel will be returned to the tank.

255 is the way to go. It is definitely big enough for what you have now, and is big enough to leave you room for more mods in the future. The key is to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a fuel pressure gauge mounted int he car so you can dial it in right. This adjustability is what allows you to use this same pump as you go faster and faster, without worrying about it being overkill.

The current issue (March 07) of Modified Mustangs has a very well-written and photographed "how to" article about changing the fuel pump on a Fox. Very timely since I'm going to install a new one when I change out my bad sender in a few weeks..

BTW, I've been running 24's with H/C/I since last summer with no issues. I'm upgrading since I'll have the tank down anyway, under the "be prepared" thought process.
