Well it only took 3 weeks for the bug to return. I just did a full exhaust, and picked up a black magic eletric fan p/n 175 for 86-93 5.0. My question is were did you install the temp. tube for the fan that reads the coolant temp? Thanks in advance!

Hey, once you get your fan on id like to hear how you like it, was actually thinking of doing the same for my stang. Once you do tell me if you notice any cooling loss or gain with it thats my main scare , as well as i heard an electric fan isnt always the ebst for a street/daily driver stang, is that true guys/girls?

You put the tube thru the fins of the radiator and then you put the black plastic cap on the end and your done.

on my black magic fan the temperature sensing tube is placed on top of the fins and is held in place by the fan mounting bracket. just follow the instructions that come with the fan and you should be OK.
