for some stupid reason ford stopped making the pcv tube for the 5.0. and none of the parts stores have any aftermarket ones either. does anyone know what else can be used and can take the heat?

I'm sure if you go to an auto parts store, they may have the tube made by an aftermarket company. If not, they'll be able to tell you what type of hose would work, and probally have it in stock. I think any rubber or silicone hose should be OK, as long as it dosen't get kinked. The hose should only get as hot as the underhood temp.

yeah i think what is on it right now is a brake line its all dried out and cracking so i think i'll just buy one from a parts store they said its a dealer part and the dealer said they dont make it any more... go figure ... ford is stupid they should know that these cars are always going to be popular ans are the engines so they should keep making all the parts to it. but i guess u have to get creative if you dont want to buy there new crap cars. but then again i would definately buy an 05 mustang if i had the money... any ways i'll have to make something work

Did you try mustang corral? They have alot of hard to find parts. You can also contact a mustang salvage company and buy a used one. Look in some magazines and you can find the #'s to these companies.

http://secure.50resto.com/index.cfm?SID=1 I just ordered my whole new pcv assembly from here. You can get the said tube in chrome or original rubber. Now for my question...How and the friggin heck do I get the screen out of the pcv tube with the intake still on my car? Just replace my rear main and oil pan gasket and don't wana blow em again cause of that stupid screen.
