Default need some input on a 95 Cobra

a couple days ago I said I found a 5.0 cobra with 65,000mi to look at and today I checked it out. The car looks in amazing condition. The interior is only worn on the drivers seat and its not beyond normal wear, just some wrinkles in the leather. The T5 tranny felt good and shifted strongly. The clutch is relatively new with only like 6,000mi on it. The guy almost never drove the car. It has LT headers, Mac exhaust, o/r h pipe, Nitto radials in the rear, 3.73 gears, KB s/c, MAF/30lb injectors, a new cam(dont remember exact specs), Edelbrock heads, and a chip to help make it all work together. The owner said he has a chip for the s/c, but the chip caused some detonation becuz of the cam, so he got another chip and a dyno tune to fix the detonation under WOT but it has a rough idle now that may cause it to stall if im sitting in stop and go traffic, plus it runs a lot hotter on the new chip. He thinks the fan may not run as much with the new chip. Anyway, the paint is relatively new, just some pieces chipped off the front bumper. My biggest convern is that I need a car that can handle going to college with me, a 300mi trip that I'll be making several times a year for the next few years. And with stock internals, and running about a 7lb of boost, im curious if for $9,000 the car will be ok as a daily driver for the next few years. So what do you guys think though?

i wouldnt supercharge it if i were going to be going to college, just wait till you get out, its reliable but i wouldnt count on it for a daily driver for like road trips, frequent roadtrips at that. Just my 0.02

I would avoid that car being that you are a college student... you simply wont have the money to fix it if the engine pops

ok, thanks guys. I have the knowledge and all to care for it, but I'm just worried about it blowing up on me one day on the highway. Cuz needless to say, that would be bad. I'm also looking at a couple New Edge GTs. I found one at Carmax for like 13,000. But I'm checking private sales for the better prices.

Maybe its just me thinking my car is worth more than it is having a kb mustang too, but if i had that car there is no way id let it go for under 10 unless there is a problem with it.

I have to agree. The car sounds amazing but I'd never buy it if I was going to drive it too and from college. It most likely wont be a good commuter.
