Clutch help !!
Alright well my clutch is trash. i took it to a dealer by my house to get it looked at and they said i need a clutch kit, pilot bearing, clutch cable, and rear main seal. What i need to know is the best site to order a clutch from, what is the best option for a clutch, and how much work is needed to put one in. any additional help would be great as well.
as far as the HP of my car i have the trickflow top end. 100 shot of nitrous, and all the supporting mods. (fuels system, exhaust ect..)

RE: Clutch help !!
spec stage 2, it can handle more power than a stock block...
it comes with a pilot bearing, throw out bearing, clutch disc, pressure plate, and alignment tool, you will have to buy a rear main seperately.
Costs about $300 for the clutch kit, rear main is like $10-$20 depending on where you go. And a clutch can be swapped in about 2-4 hours... depending on how fast you work, and how many things go wrong.
I can do them in an hour to an hour and a half

i was under the impression that a clutch would be a ton of work to swap out. also is there any way that you cna link me to the clutch kit that you are refering to?? ill need an adjustable clutch cable as well no?
http://www.treperformance.com/SPEC/S...tang79-95.html has a stage 3 for 309, only 20$ more than stage 2 is it owrth it to just get the stronger one?

This is a stage 2 clutch disc from SPEC, it offers a relatively light pedal, streetable engagement and awesome power handling. I have a stage 2 in my car and im running about 400hp on nitrous.. it does not slip

And this is the stage 3, you can see by the design of the disc that it is meant to offer alot higher clamping load then a conventional disc or even one like the stage 2... you will NOT be happy with this disc.. at all
