well many people don't just have the money to buy a set of heads so i figuerd i would atlest through either a b or e cam in there or something similar so the only thing i have to do is tighten them down to spec and thats it

I ran the "e" cam in my car with stock heads and it ran well, 13.6 plus it still got good mileage.

you ought to know by now that you can't ask a question on here without getting lots of unsolicited advice along with some good and some bad answers to the original question. LOL the hard part is trying to recognize the bad answers!!!!

why not just put on a set of 1.7's to increase lift..much easier to do than a cam swap...

ORIGINAL: roundman

the E7 stock heads use pedestal mounted rocker arms which are simply torqued down to specs. be careful on the cam selection as you could run into a problem with piston to valve clearnance with anything more than about 0.498" total lift at the valve.
What the hell dont you know about 5.0s?, Im going to come up with a question that you cant answer some day.

I thought the stock rockers were stud mounted?? Guess I was wrong.

what are "a set of 1.7's" ?
rockers arms with a 1.7:1 ratio versus the 1.6 rockers which are basically the stock ones.
they would provide 6.25% more lift at the valve than the 1.6 rockers.
