Default mustang will not start

ok so i was having troubles with my alternator and battery and firing up my car. i had my high-amp alternator rebuilt (stock for the interceptors), and purchased the right size battery for my mustang. while installing my alternator i arched the hot wire to a fuel line, andmy alternator casing. i continued install and when i went to start my car... nothing, not even clicking. i believe i shorted out a fuse or a relay... but all fuses were good and im not sure what relays to check or where to begin. or if that is even my problem. i know there was a recall on ignition switched internally shorting out but i really do not know what the problem is. if anyone has knowledge in this area... please advise. thank you very much
