I had there older version on a 99gt 5spd. It was not to loud and did not have a chambered muffler sound to it. Later I added a MAC off road h-pipe, that made it loud and I loved it. Great fit and I think there tipscome polished now. I have a 5.0 now and want to buy there old version but all I found was there SDT version. If you found a non-SDT catback tell me where, I can't find them anymore. I have a 87 LX coupe and might end up going with dynomax if I can't find a edelbrock system.

Edelbrock makes just about everything now. I never had a problem with any of there products.
