ok well the 1st one broke lagit the steel cable frayed, then I put a new one in from autozone and 1week and 1day later the plastic peice that holds the cable into the Belhousing broke through it so I went and bought another one from autozone and returned the 1st one. now 1week and 4days l8r turns out that the exhaust burnt a hole in the rubber part and ruined this one. so tonight I bought a 3rd one and I wanna put it in but I don't want to ruin this one so does anyone know how to solve my problem? mayB some heat tape or something? also if you could post somepics of you're cables so I can get an idea of where it's really supposed to run thatwould beawesome too. thanx

Are you sure your routing it right? I have long tubes and my exhaust doesn't come anywhere close to my clutch cable.

i think my clutch cable has a bracket that holds it to the body so it won't hit the exhaust
