Default RE: interior painting

I dyed/painted the entire interior of my '84 2.3 turbo. The panels and vinyl came out awesome, the carpet felt like you could use it as sand paper for a while, but it eventually got the carpet feel back to it. Not sure if your going the expensive route or not, but I usually do things as cheap as possible. I used vinyl/carpet spray paint and then some $0.88 black spray paint from the hardware section of walmart for the plastic pieces. I also took all the pieces out of the car and sanded the pieces before I did it though. Both the types of paint I used came out to be pretty tough. I used 3 coats on everything.
