Default Trans bellhousing lining up...

Im selling my T-5 on eBay and I have several people asking me if their current bellhousing will fit my trans, now im pretty sure it will, but I I dont want to say yes until I confirm it. So does anyone know if the shape or pattern of the bolting differs on any 5.0 foxbody t-5's? It's out of an 86.

Should be the same, yeah damn i could have told you the SN's have a deeper bell housing b/c the shifter had to be located back further in the vehicle but o well, also, i dont believe and 86 is a WC,not sayin that you have it posted as one tho....

The guy I bought it from said it was an 86 maybe he was wrong. The tag that I check though says its a.. All 5.0 V8 WC Mustang Transmission

Or maybe the owner that had the car before him put a WC in it???

Already tried. Different gear ratio between mine and the foxbody one.

of course, thats because its a t5z, you need to get the right input shaft for it. Its available through astro performance....

that is NOT a stock transmission

it runs a 2.95 first gear, has double-moly 2nd and 3rd clusters, and carbon fiber blocker rings

you better not let that trans go for less than $800

of course you could always get a fox bell housing and swap it into your car, the only thing you would have to do is modify your shifter shaft to come back about an inch... and itll fit fine

Ok and your saying take the one I have for sale get that right input shaft, and put that one in my car. And I would have to get a different bellhousing or...

Your confusing me a little here as to what your suggesting
