Default crate motor

there is a dude that i know selling a 94 gt that he claims has a crate motor in it, intake headers exhaust, ported, gears..and some other minor stuff..

he said he would sell it to me for 1,000 dollars cuz he crashed it from the front but it still starts and drives..

i dont know much about these motors but i hear their good..? what do you guys think about this..

im not sure, im going to check out the car sometime this week.. the guy said the car starts but hes had ppl come and check out the car and not buy it cuz of the damage, im guessing its not gonna look too good..hes selling it to me for 1000 cuz he wants to get rid of it already..ill keep ya posted

if it had oil pressure i dont see y not , make sure the blocks not dracked and motor mounts are good
