Default Beefing up the rear

I've got an 86 GT convert. which has a 347 stroker, SC, and a ton of other mods. It's putting out about 450 HP and wanted to see what you'd recommend with getting the rear beefed up. I know about getting the torque boxes and axle tubes welded, but wanted to see what else I should do. I'mrunning drag radials, UPR upper control arms with polyurethane bushingsand Lakewood action traction lowers, Koni shocks/struts, welded subframes, etc.

I addressed my trans, clutch, bellhousing, MAF, TB, intake, cam, heads, exhaust, ign., gears, etc. and know this is my weakest link.

Any ideas?

I tried it once and the g/f said it hurt too much... OH!

Anyways... Sounds nice. Why not go with slicks instead of drag radials? I don't understand why everyone seems to favor DR's over slicks... Changing tires isn't hard and takes less than 10 mins.

So I don't have to take them off when I drive on the street.

What do you recommend I so with the totque boxes?

Do they sell them other places or do you have to get them from Wild Rides?
