a small bike trailor only weights like 500-600 lbs (less if it's an alum trailer) and a ZX6 weighs 385ish dry
ORIGINAL: militarymustang88gt

i was about to say any good trailor weights like a good 750 lbs minimum and a bike prob about the same or nothing below 450 but still that might be the only time i would like a mustang towing a trailor mustang then bike then black streaks and a ricer loosing

I have one on my car, what's the BFD? You hardly notice it. I used to pull a trailor w/ my bike on it. Never a problem. See the small cover under the bumper, bet you've never noticed it.

I cant believe a V8 rwd car only has a 1k pound tow capacity. My Elantra has a 3200 pound capacity (with trailer brakes) and it doesnt even weigh that much.
I actually found that rating on a reputable web site and was really surprised.

A GT would be terrible you would have to cut a hole in the bumber. On an LX I say go for it, Like pro's you never notice it. I towed a boat with my Buick Regal once, that was funny. But with a V8 with that much torque. What's the big deal. It is functional and saves you from buying a truck and insurance.
