Was wondering if with a little clean up, are they worth it??????$800.00??Just looking for some feedback from someone with actual knowedge please, not what ur cousins girls best friends brother told him........ No, seriously I just have not heard anything good or bad about them... thanx for the input guys

The 200 means thats a 200cc intake port, thats really big. Its not going to have much bottom end, but with a big cam and nitrous and same big rear gears that thing will scream on the track. If you want you could build a stroker and put those heads on it and it wouldn't be so bad.

I've got those exact heads on my 347. They've got some big valves so don't plan on using the heads without notching your stock pistons or going aftermarket. I went with a 5-angle valve job, extrude honing, andIport-matched my heads to a weiand stealth intake with a 750 DP. But yeah low-end performance is slightly compromised, that's why i went with the stroker and the stealth intake. Stuff some forged slugs in a 302 with those heads and a high winding cam and a victor Jr. intake, and you've got a decent screamer. I also had to shim my valve springs to get the correct seat pressure using a moderate cam with nitrous.
hope that helps and good luck bud.

Depending on the cam you dont always have to notch your pistons. I am going to run a Canfield 195 on my stock 302 bottom end.

I ran the heads at first on my 85 302, they were a great deal for some decent flowing heads. The 2.02 intake valves with the stock cam were very slightly interfering with the pistons, so I got some speed-pro forged and notched pistons from summit (they were cheap with summit's 302 rebuild kit). Well there was no interference with the new pistons, but I never got a chance to actually start up the engine. A "friend" of mine who was a self-proclaimed decent mechanic was punching out the pistons and con-rods with a 24 inch 1/2"drive extension and a mallet. well he went on to the #5 piston and i guess he forgot to completely take out the rod bearing cap nuts. long story short he took a HUGE chunk out of the block when his hand slipped the extension. So now i've got my FRPP 347 long block. couldn't be happier. I'll be throwing the heads on the flow bench in a few months after i get the rest of the car finished when i get back home

well 200s aregreat for bigger small block motors..strokers,351ws...ect... the jrs are best for 302s not stroked.. i have a few freinds with jrs unported running 11s all motor,...

a buddy had 200s on a 306 and a mild cam and 9.1 comp and a vic jr intake and a t-5 was a dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwg of line till about 3800 rpms.....so get jrs unless alotta compression or bigger motor, even world prouducts say same thing

yeah the windsor jr are better for you.

$800 seems high to me, maybe cuz world is close to me, and a friend of a friend was selling them for $300 pair , $500 for aluminum windsor jr's

anyways, if your planning on port work anyways, get used heads and do a valve job, work the exhaust pretty good, and minor cleanup on the intakes. upgrade the valve springs and your all set, w/ heads that are better than new. i just bought a set of edelbrock 1.9/1.6 performers for $700

used iron heads are $300-$500 and used aluminum are $700-$900 (brand new gt40x aluminum are $989 set)

for 800 bucks i would just look for some used afr 165s, theyll be alot better unless your planning on going stroked or putting a 351 in... hell for 800 bucks you can just get some junky gt-40s and port them... Would take that over heads ive never heard of...
