Wonder how much nitrous my fuel system can support. Its a stock tank with a in tank 255lph pump with an inline Vortech T-Rex pump. Stock lines, 94/95 fuel rails with 30 lb injectors. Im running a wet kit. Im getting into a mustang shootout at Great Lakes Dragaway in Spring. Im in a stock block single power adder class, and I want to be able to compete with some of these turbo guys. I want to throw a 250 shot at it, think I have enough fuel? Was also thinking of a dual stage, comming out of the hole on a 100 shot dry, and then hitting a 150 wet as a second stage. What do you guys think?

That sounds like a ton of fun!! 100 then 150 booya! I'm not sure about the injectors.. you may need 42's.

I wouldn't do the 2 stage version. Leave on it. If the tires won't hold., do suspension work. Your fuel system will support enough to split the stock block and that 250 shot just may do it. I've sprayed 250hp though a nozzle on a stock block before but that's because I wasn't making that much power N/A.

And I really hope you know what you're doing. There are maybe 3-4 people on this entire site that have done what you're thinking of doing.

Id probably end up using race gas if im shooting that much at it. Hoping I have enough of a fuel system to support it.

I know what I'm doing, I've been spraying this car for a while. Its got a good suspension, and on ET Streets. Im using a plate kit too.

Fair enough. I'm just sometimes suspect when I see posts like that on here. But I will say, if your motor is already requiring 30lb injectors N/A, then you're probably to the power level where 250hp of nitrous is a .... brave(?) idea. If it's an NOS plate, you'll probably only make 200-210rwhp though.

Well i had 24 lbers on for a while and those worked great N/A. I upgraded for the nitrous. Its a NX plate system, you probably know the kit. It can be used for a dual stage setup. Only reason I said I was thinking about a 2 stage, 100 shot dry, then 150 wet, is because I dont want to destroy my launch and 60' by spinning my *** off cuz i sprayed 250 off the line.
