When i hit the gas hard there is a loud crunch noise from the rear of the car right away, it isa five speed car and i lowered it about an inch and a half and the tires are a little tall (215/60/16s), do you guys think itis a rear end problem or just a little tire rubbidge?

Noises are a little tough to explain but kinda like something hitting hard, or something loudly bending, i know that sounds really dumb but is the best description i can do.

i agree, noises are hard to explain... heres what i would do

check your U joints, they could be going bad, they would cause a bang
then if thats not it i would open up the diff and look for any damage, or play in there...

if your car rattles a little then its most likely your u-joints, but i dont think they would make a crunch sound. i havent had the problem but from what i hear its usually just vibrations that signal u joints

i was agreeing to you, and adding on.. .yes you can get vibrations... its from the u joints being loose(or however u wanna look at it) and the drive shaft having play... drive shaft rotates, and is ballanced, so if thats thrown off, yup u sure will get vibrations...
