ET Streets SUCK in the rain, i put my car into a wall because of htem and i was doing 45 MPH on the highway. I was the slowest one on the road, and i couldnt do a thing to stop it. I would get upper and lower control arms, and sub-frame connectors. BFG and Nitto Drag radials would be better in the rain, never had a problem in the rain wiht my nittos in the rain, even when they went bald.

RE: traction
i just dont drive in the rain at all. thank god it only rains about 3 days a year. the et streets are a great tire.
the lift bars change the suspension geometry so that when you launch, the car strikes the tires harder then normal lower arms. this is good if you have a drag radial or a slick but not so good if you have standard street tires. i run lift bars on my car and they work good

RE: traction
Do lower control arms before upper. After that, do: Upper control arms, subframe connectors, springs, and shocks. I think you said that you already had slicks/dr's, but if not I'd get them sooner than later. I have no experience in teh matter but from what I've heard after a few of those things you might need to be looking into some beefed up axle shafts.
