Some help please...
Okay, well I picked up my 90 GT today. Bought it for $2k. Runs great, shifts great, overall good condition so I figured it was a good deal. I'm in the process of restoring the interior first. Carpet, seats, etc. I want to go with some black leather seats, front and back. I see a few guys are putting in later model mustang seats. How do these convert? Do they use the same seat bracket? I'm in question as to what some of you guys here have done when it comes to upgrading or replacing the seats with something other than the stock seats. Also, anybody know where I can get the body molding ( the approximately 4 inchwide piece circling the car)? A few spots on mine are cracked, thought about replacing it when I get it painted. Is there anywhere on the web that sells mainly stock parts for our cars? Any suggestions on some good websites for aftermarket parts? Thanks, sorry for all the questions, I've got the money, but now I can't find the parts I need! Help would be appreciated.

The front seats out of a newer stang will bolt right up in ur car but the rear will not.For mostly stock parts I would give Texas Mustang a call they have both stock and aftermarket interior, exterior, and mechanical parts. There number is 800-527-1588 if interested

50resto.com sells that molding. The one that goes along the door is what I am needing, Is that the ones you need? If you replace you door mouldings send me some pics of your old ones, I may be interested in buying them. Congrats on your car you will love your stang. It is an addiction.

^^ If this is what your talking about it's very expensive.. Thats just for one piece on the door.. I was going to get it on my 86, but now was to expensive so I just left out the door molding and it doesn't look to bad..

Yes, that is what I'm wanting. I saw those already, and thought they were really expensive. I was wondering if anybody knows anywhere else that sells it. Mine is scuffed up a bit and one piece is cracked. I am planning on painting the car, so thought I would do it all at once. Thanks.
