Can some one explain these rear control arms to me?

These are the kind that extend in length. Why would you need to extend them in length? Is it for when you jack up the rear to the extreme?

No it's for changing the pinion angle of the rear end.

I dont want any of those type.

Looks like with uppers and lowers like that you could extend the wheel base.

na you couldnt... theres this big metal thing... bolted to the tranny.... driveshaft i think they call it. lol just bustin on ya man...i guess thats for the pinion angle like already said, personally id go w. lowers that adj, but not like that, that can adj height, and uppers like the ones in your picture.<if u want full adjustability...
