yea just went to evolution performane and they said that they cant tune the car to run wiht a tfs stage 2 cam. so now i have to either go carb or maf, and since its my dd for now im goin maf.

dude i told u last night. that cam is a great cam and it works well with gt40 heads, my friend has a similar setup and all he has diff are the gt40p heads and a edy knock off intake and he makes 320 wheel. its pretty cheap and it will be a great motor. plus what other cams work well with sd. oh thats righ none. the only cams that may work are the stge 1 and the e cams and i need something more
im just gonna do a maf swap and then be done

cool...a lot of people told me to get the maf when i had my 87..they said you can't tune a speed density...but they obviously don't know what they are talkin about!

Well, sd isn't upgrade friendly. I'd recommend the maf swap personally so it doesn't need a tune so bad after every mod. I'd say you should still go for maf swap if you can afford it, but it's not needed.

thats why i bought an 89
yea....i was also told not to go with a cam with a lot of lift and duration...the SD couldn't compensate for it
