Looking to buy a new catted x-pipe (CT. emmissions suck)and a set of shorties for an 89 lx. Car already has a s.s. flowmaster cat-back system, any suggestions on best place to buy quality/price? I looked a the big boys,jegs,summit, pipe will run $400-$450, shorties $200-$450 depending on brand and coating. Trying to stay with the better brands, bbk,mac,bassani,flowtech. Any suggestions/info would be a great help.

i have ordered tons of stuff from jegs and summit.

i use the flowtech equal lengths and their x pipe(no cats).

i also use their warlock mufflers with dumps and removable plates.

sounds amazing...... as do most 5.0s.

used x-pipes offer better prices silly.. also bbk,mac,pacesetter,flow techare hardly better brands

bbk and mac headers arent bad for the price... i dont see why u wanna spend more than a few hunderd bucks headers... i got mac lts with a prochamber at it sounds nice flows great... Lts are a nice time consuming task tho... so make sure u know whta your getting into if u get LTs.... if u get shorties make sure u get equal lengths!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stick with jegs or summit since they have cheaper shipping. Get a set of Hooker, Hedman, or Dougs if you want a good set of headers. BBK and Macs are alright.
