need body help! *updated with pics*
i know there are a few people in here with body experience. 2 nights ago i was digging my car out, and the wooden shaft for my shovel whacked my rear bumper, behind the wheel. it now has a 4 inch crack from the bottom, straight up. any way of fixing this? i was thinking about my little "plastic welding" trick of heating a screwdriver tip and melting the backside of the edges and sticking them together.
also, does anyone have a picture of the area i'm talking about? the rear bumper seems to be split into 3 sections. the rear part, and the 2 "skirts" behind the wheels.
edit: new pictures and new question. view the section in question. this is behind the drivers rear tire. can this piece of the bumper be ordered seperately, or does the whole rear bumper include these skirts behind the wheel.

you can buy flexible bumper repair from the autobody store ull also need adhesion promoter for the repair material and there is a cloth to bridge gaps www.autobodytoolmart.com
also the bumpre can be plastic welded not with a screw driver thought theres a kit that uses an iron and plastic stick to weld the bumper back together

the mix is one to one on the plastic repair normally u use a gun but thats an added cost u can just meter it your self and mix it on a clean surface
the adhesion promoter is used after the the sanding and before primer this stuff is kinda pricey but most people use it to on a daily basis not a one time project
ull have to v out the tear and sand down the surrounding are so u can feather the repair out
