Default oil pan

can i just take off the oil pan from under the car and be able to pull it out 89 5.0 muustang

I dont believe you can because it goes up and over your steering among other things.

Your crossmember is in the way. If you unbolt the mounts and jack the engine up a bit you might be able to get it off, but your oil pump might be in the way. If so, then do the mount/motor thing and you'll be able to access the oil pump bolts. 3 of them I believe. Undo those and let the pump fall into the pan, and then it will slide out
