Default Driveline probs.

Well, ever since I put my gears in my car has a REALLY bad vibration at about 80 mph and gets worse the faster I go. I am PRETTY sure its my drive line because at lower speeds like 70 or 60 i can feel what seems like the driveline vibrating but its in a rhythm. Its strange. I can also feel it in the stick (specially after I got the Pro50). I dont think its the tranny, so i am going to have my driveline rebuilt. Does anyone know what this costs? Should I just cough up dough for an aluminum one? Could this vibration be something else?

i would have your reargears checked out first especially iftheywhere justdone, before doing anything it sounds like the problem might be that they are not spaced right not sure about the driveline though.

I am sorry I should have been more clear, it used to do it at like 105 mph before i put the gears in, but it never bothered me because i never go that fast haha. But the gears are making the driveline spin faster at lower speeds.

unbolt your driveshaft and rotate it 90° and re-attach it

Same problem at same speeds, replaced driveshaft with Ford racing aluminum peice no more vibration. But mine was from a chunk missing from the slip yoke from it falling out when the transmission tried to assasinate itself
