simple question
hey whats up people, just a quick question: if you unplug the mass air but plug it right back in again after youre done working on something, does that cause any problems? i was just wondering because a friend of mine seems to think that if i unplug it it will mess it up or something[&:]

RE: simple question
you can't mess anything up just by unplugging it, make sure the car's not running though. If you work on anything electrical its a good idea to unplug the neg battery cable while your doin it.

RE: simple question
Really not doing anything to it as long as the car is not running. You reset the thing when you disconnect the battery and unplug it. Normal procedure when you change mafs or throttle body or upgrade to better chip.

RE: simple question
disconnecting the negative battery cable for at least 10 minutes will reset the KAM, "keep alive memory", in the ECU and it's recommended you do this anytime you make any mods so the ECU can learn new settings for whatever the change you made is doing.
