What do i have to change? I know I will have to put the older timing cover on to bolt the fuel pump on but will the roller that is on the end of the cam bolt on the the newer 302?

Yea just go with an electric unit, not al the hassle, and they arent that expensive. Obviously you will have to change the intake manifold, and bolt on a carb, other than that and the pump it is pretty much straightforward

thanks for the replies. This is going in a 1984.F150 truck. I was wanting to get a newer motor like what is in the 86 on up mustangs. I see that I will have to change the gear on the distributor gear for the roller cam. So will the older round oil pump drive off my 84 work on the roller cam of the newer engine?
