I'd say go with a 3" cowl. There's nothing meaner looking than a fox body with some 15 inch rims, really fat tires, and a 3" cowl hood.

ORIGINAL: Stanpower

If you don't really need it keep it factory...........Why blow the money? Now if you need to because the intake is alittle too high well that a different story........
Well I sure don't think most people who change the hood on our cars change it because their intake won't clear the stock hood... Obviously the reason I'm changing it is because it looks a whole lot better than the factory hood. Yes, some hoods serve a purpose. But 99% of people have them because they look great. I certainly do not consider adding to the looks of my car "blowing my money". I think it is a great addition to the car, and money VERY well spent. And besides, this poll wasn't for opinions of whether or not I should get a hood or not... I've already decided that I'm getting one. This poll is asking the preference of each individual to the cobrar hoodor the cowl hood.Seriously not trying to be rude, but I'm just puzzled as to why you think hoods should only be replaced and used when there is a purpose for them.

Okay, I need some recommendations on companies to buy my hood from. I know there are a lot of issues with aftermarket hoods, and I want to make sure I go with the right company. Who would you guys recommend me to buy my hood from, as far as quality, fitment, etc...? Is fiberglass the best way to go? Thanks.
