on my 86 hatch that got totalled it was completly rust/dent free with perfect interior and i got $5200 for it from insurance with 100,000 on the odometer and bought it back for 1600
Are you saying that I am better off getting a sn 5.0 over a cobra 5.0 overall after modding it?

thats exactly what im saying... you can get a GT for 3-4k cheaper than a cobra... take that 3k-4k and put a kick *** h/c/i and supercharger on the GT...
you then have a 400hp gt vs a stock cobra....
I got a cobra because it was a hell of a deal, was bone stock... and it was in better shape than any of the GT's that were around here
