Default what kind of rockers should i get for gt-40 heads (cast-iron)

what kind of rockers should i get for a set of gt-40 cast iron heads? i know there are pedestal mount, stud mount and stuff like that but i dont know what kind i need for gt-40 heads. im looking to upgrade to 1.7s just need to know what to buy so i dont get the wrong kind. also will this improve hp or tq very much?

You need pedestal mount. 1.7 will give you a little bit more power over 1.6's.

depends on the amount of experience u have. if this is ur first thing on a motor, than prob too hard, but if u have done other similar things and have someone to guide u along than u can do it

i installed long tubes on my car and let me tell you that was no easy task! also will 1.7 rockers from an e7 head be the same fitment as rockers from a gt40 head?

yeah gt40/e7 heads have the same rocker mounting.... if you want you can get 1.7 cobra roller rockers that come from cranes cam or you can get 1.7/1.6 SVO roller rockers

I have some 1.7 roller rockers for sale. cranecams. new never used only been out of the box 3 times

what do you recommend and where can i find them...... should i replace the push rods? anything else i should take care of while im in there?

you have to replace the pushrods since your going from a 1.6 to 1.7
