Default Hardened Pushrods?

I want to get hardened pushrods for my new head/cam swap because of the stronger valve springs. All I can find in my service manual is the part number 6565 for the pushrods. Does anyone know how long these are? I was on the Ford Racing site and they have a pushrod thats listed under 1995s that appears to be hardened and i was wondering if mine were the same. I dont want to use mine and then be sorry later, but if mine are infact hardened I will use them. What info do you guys have? Thanks in advance!

get a pushrod length checker from summitracing and get pushrods that are the right length

your stock rods will turn into pretzels if you try to use them

well after i got the new cam in i threw a head on there with the rockers and checked it out with the stock pushrods. I turned the engine over a few times and the stock pushrods look to be the correct length...

stock length is 6.250"

you need them hardned if you run stud mount rockers

no... you need them hardened if you run stiffer springs

I have the stock pushrods in my car, but I have pedestal mount rockers and the valve springs that come with the AFR 165s. Had them on over a month now and have had no problems.

Fork out a couple of extra bucks and buy adjustables, set the length the right way.

you dont buy a set of adjustables... you buy one and measure its length... then buy a set of correctly sized pushrods....
