haha I was sorta asking around for me not for you. Yeah the sensor is in the dizzy. Underneath where the rotor is. It runs off of the cam so its the cam sensor. It works likea vehicle speed sensor, their should be some vanes and a magnetic pickup in there. You need an O scope to test it sadly haha, i dont know where you could get one cheap sorry.

Odd. I would definatly get some new wires. Start with the cheaper options to fix it first.....Have you checked to see if your getting spark to each cylinder ?
