I shift at 6500.


I would suggest no more than 5500 if it is mostly stock.

correct thing to do is get it dynoed and find out when you start dropping power and shift right when the power starts to fall...

I shift around 5300

yea 5500 is a nice easy shift.... just make sure u dont bounce off the rev limiter... i think its at 6250 stock.... i shift at 5750ish normally

just shift whenever it wont go any faster in the gear you are in....just kiddin just to be safe go from 1st to 3rd to 5th and be done with it.

i dont have to ask five liter rice eater.. i just didnt know if anyone knows what the powerpoints are on a stock 89 5.0?? b/c i dont want to waste time redlinein if it cuts out at 46k or whatever it is
