why whats the correct way to diagnose the problem???

i took the car out today and it was running like **** then ok then i came home shut it off then it wouldnt start againbutt hen once it cooled down it did then i took it out later on and it died twice on me in a span of 2 blocks, and one of the times was in the middle of an intersection, really embarrising, anyone got any other ideas? it would run alot better in first then any other gears,its an automatic. this is so frustrating especially kuz i keep throwin money at it and its not fixin it. im almost debating on just selling it so somebody HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

Take it someplace and have someone that knows what they are doing look at it for you. Maybe even leave it so they can take it for a drive. Talk to them, tell them in detail what has changed on the car since it last ran well. Describe how it is running in detail to them.

1st things first MAKE SURE YOUR PLUG WIRES ARE ON CORRECT! you might have 2 wires crossed making it hesitate and run rich and such. Another thing you could possibly do is dissconect your battery and leave it sit for a hour or so then hook it back up that should reset your computer.

wtf? dont respond if you don't know wtf your talking about. vacuum leaks would make it run lean.
explain your symtoms a little more. are you smelling gas?
i had an intake leak a while back and it ran very rich at idle...

There is your problem....You should always have a code output....code 11 (system pass) at least. From the symptoms you describe and that little piece of information there, you have problems in the EEC-IV system.
