well ifu port the heads on the gt40's which usually runs around 500-800 dollars than u can expect to see much more hp than the trick flow top end kit. go to thumper's site, i forget exactly what its called, someone help, but he can do it for a decent price, and then u will have much better heads than trick flow's and the cam is a good cam, the intake is good and have that port matched to the heads and u should c close to 300 wheel from it.

here is thumpers site.... if you gettin a cam u can get a nice package for 1000 bucks plus the cost of gettin gt-40 heads from a junk yard.... and just get a n explorer intake.... no need to port in unless you goin to shot for 500+ rwhp... the exlporer intake can handle nething under that... only other thing u mite wanna do is get the lower intake ported to match the heads... which is like another 75 ... im gettin cam heads p/p and lower p/p with shipping will be less than 1200.... and hte heads will be shipped bak assembled ready to bolt on.... thumper is a good porter to so now worries

Instead of spending $150 on the gt-40's(Guessing there) and then another $800 on the port job, why not just do it right and buy some AFR's????

You dont have to port the intake, but at LEAST take some time a do a good gasket matching... Seriously its attention to detail that gets you another 10 hp....
