Default longtubes

Im thinkin about buyin some BBK longtube headers for my car soon. My cars a 5.0 with a few mods. Would this be a good idea or a bad idea? Would it make a sound difference?

i have an O/R H-pipe and flowmaster exhaust right now.

i went from stock manifolds and cats and a flowmaster cat back to BBK long tubes, offroad H pipe, and magnaflow cat back. it got a little louder, but sooo much cleaner!

unless you have major mods down the road i would suggest sticking with shorties and if you buy longtubes you have to buy a new h pipe to fit it too.

the muffler guy can....unless you have a sawzall and a welder....but also consider if you have to change your clutches down the road...how would you take the H pipe back off if you weld it?

The only way to make it work would be to make it shorter...but the shorter you cut it prob the thinner it gets, I dont see it happening.
