actually yeah i do, when ever i go to get it checked the light goes off! whenever you park the car for more than a min the light goes off. and the guy at auto zone said they could only read 96's and up
That's actually a sign of Bad O2 sensors. That changes everything, lol. Grab a set of Bosch O2 sensors from Autozone of some place and try swapping them out. It's REAL easy to do and is very fast. Took me about 3 min total to change both. All you do is disconnect the wire harness underneath, unscrew both sensors, screw new ones in, and plug the wire harness back in. Easy task.

And the guy at Auto Zone is a liar, lol. I go there all the time myself and they have checked mine. (95 GT.) They can do it if you get someone who knows what they are talking about. Chances are you even ahve a partially functioning OBDII connection.

A unique socket for the O2 sensors? I just used an ordinary wrench ahd han absolutely no problems at all. Under 3 min for the installation of both of them.

I also have a BBK CAI. I had the same problem that you have about 2 months ago. Autozone and everyone else was telling me it was the O2 sensor. Luckly i didn't go out and buy them right away. I went to the ford garage and had them run a check on the vehicle. The verdict was a gasket that had come loose on the CAI and caused me to run really lean. The rubber gasket between the polished tube and the MAF was the verdict. May wanna check out all of your gaskets from the tb back really quick before you go out and pay 90 bucks for an O2 sensor. Kinda pissed me off that i paid 75 bucks to have them check it out and tell me it was a ****in gasket, worked fine after that tho.
