'95 MISSING AND NO POWER
I have a 95 mustang gt it has bbk o/r h pipe, flowmaster mufflers, bbk cold air intake. i just put a new gas tank with all new stuff inside it, new fuel pump and filter, new plugs, wires, and distributor cap.
when you first start the car for about 2 min. it will run perfectly. but after that the car has a terrible hesitation problem when you really get on it. once you make itto 2500rpm and above it misses like crazy! no back firing though. if you go ahead and run it up to 3000 and then shift you can hear the motor sucking air but not firing.
all this is going on but you can feel a huge power loss even when the car is running good while its still cold if anyone has any ideas please let me know. im desprate.

RE: '95 MISSING AND NO POWER
i can vouch for the fuel pump and tank assbly, i was involved in that. its almost like it only does it when the car warms up.
is their anyway you can check an injector? without buyin all new ones?

i would prolly take out the upper intake (not ot hard) and make sure there all [ushed in far enough and the fuel rail is firmly on the back of them, i had an issue jsut like this wiht my car and it was a injector that had a small leak in the o ring and a bad connecter

RE: '95 MISSING AND NO POWER
Not sure if it's the safest or easiest method, but I have removed teh assembly and placed the injectors in glass jars so that I could watch them. Then I just cranked it a few times to see how much (if any) fuel was sprayed out. The amount should be equal in each jar.
Like I said, probably not the safest or easiest way, but it's what I have done before. I did it when upgrading injectors... I wanted to make sure they were all working properly before I put everything back together. Would ahve been pissed if I got it all together only to find out one was malfunctioning.

Then again, it does take a short amount of time for htem to heat up and function properly.
Is it giving you a Check Engine Light? perhaps one that comes off and on seemingly randomly?

actually yeah i do, when ever i go to get it checked the light goes off! whenever you park the car for more than a min the light goes off. and the guy at auto zone said they could only read 96's and up
