Default Timing question

I was wondering what the timing should be on a car that has a supercharger on it running 9psi of boost thanks

Default RE: Timing question

the general rule of thumb is -1 degree for each lb of boost. unless if you have a timing retard setup. so if you were running 12 degrees of timing you should back it off to 3. once you have it running good you can slowly bump the timing up. just ensure if you hear detonation under boost that you get out of it. you should be able to settle on 6-8 degrees once you're done.

go to the dyno and get a chip done they can add take it electrically cause they can watch it and you wont have to worry about it cause they can also add more fuel in areas too
