You need a special jell, which I can't remember for the life of me what its called even though I've replaced the stupid things twice on mine.[>:] The jell is there both as a protectent and helps conduct the electrons and all that good crap.
Dielectric Grease ftw. You can buy little 99 cent pouches at autozone. I dont know about your crazy O'Reilly's and Pepboys and all those ones, but they should def. carry it.

Put a thin coat of the dielectric grease,(thank you ttop,) on the end going into the distributer, make sure its set and firm. Pretty much just put it in the same way you took the old one out. After I did that, I hooked the neg back up to the battery and turned the car to the "on" position then back off and undid the neg again for about 20 min to reset my EEC. I'm sure you don't have to go through all that but I'm a bit paranoid about my car. Just me though.

just put it on and its done. i know some people have had problems getting the bolts out, the holes are actually smaller than the screw. whether the hole needs to be enlarged with a drill, or some people actually shave a bit off the socket to get it in the hole.
