yea that's what i figured but my traction lok is pretty messed up like only one tire spins when doing a burnout so i'm trying to figure out if the carbon discs are needed
Id say theyre not.
Only one wheel spinning is the most common symptom of a worn out trac loc and rebuilding it will correct it.

maybe but they won't give u a warranty with it since it's not a typical set up.... if you deside to let them do the rebuild on the diff. print out the link dimebag will post late and give that to them, don't just tell them how to do it they'll mess something up

it's a trick for all track lok 8.8's realy ranger guys use it a lot more than stangers because we just go full posi lol

i haven't tried the alternate way yet, but from what i'm told it's about as close you get to a full spool with still retaining streetability.... it does have slight wheel scuff like a spool does but on a much less sever case
