Default top end kits

i have a short block with low miles and i am trying to put togther a soild top end for a healthy motor i was wondering if anyone has purchased the trick flow or holley top end kits and if they are a good package or would i be better off picking and choosing it will be a EFI motor speed density system also what size TB shoudl i get

go with the trick flow.STAY AWAY form the holley they have promblems with there valve guides prematurely wearing around 12k miles and as for the throttle body go with a 70mm and with the speed density you might have some promblems,you might want to look into a mass air conversion

if you want you could go for some afr165's or 185's but youll have to get mass air first or it will never run right

if your going that far, mass air is a must... and edlebrock and trickflow and afr's are the top 3, you cant go wrong AT ALL buying one of three

ok... since im very poor would i be better off going via a carburated route since the extra 500$ for mass air is pretty pricey or can it be done in a chaper way
