so can i go get a 90+ speedo that is 140 mph and straight replace it? any mods or anything?

90+ clusters won't fit, your gonna have to find a 89. Also, if you do eventually change it out, be ABSOLUTELY SURE you inform the DMV and your insurance company. They will provide you with paperwork that needs to be notorized. Odometer changes MUST be logged or your in for one hell of a lawsuit.

why is the fu ck would you want to increase your mileage... the fox odometers only have 5 digits... just roll over the new one to match you ORIGINAL mileage....

so the 90+ wont fit into the 87-89 models, I am glad I know this, since I plan on swapping my cluster for a 140.

I was thinking in my situation, where my new speedo was only about 2k miles above my old one, just left it there till it reach the same milage

cant you just take the actual speedometer out of the 89 cluster and put it into the 90's? i know the whole cluster is differnt but arent the speedoes the same?
